Yamama Masudaen Co.,Ltd. is located at the southern tip of the Makinohara Plateau, Japan’s largest tea-growing area.Taking advantage of this excellent natural environment, we have developed an integrated production system from growing tealeaves to production and sales. We make every effort to be environmentally responsible and to provide people in the world with safe and delicious tea. We were the first tea manufacturer in Japan to acquire ISO 14001(The International Standard for Environmental Management Systems) in April 2001.

Regarding the quality of our tea, we received the highest award by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 2003, and also received the Shizuoka Governor Award in 2004. Our green tea has been continuously recognized as top-level tea in Japan.

Parts of our tea fields and factories have received Organic JAS, so we produce organic tea also. We strive to provide safer and tastier green tea that our customers seek. We provide relaxing moments and a healthy lifestyle with our green tea.

ISO14001
We were the first green tea manufacturer in Japan to acquire ISO14001(International Organization for Standardization). Our aim is to have a green tea manufacturing management with care for the environment. Also, we are striving to make tea for which all people can feel safe about drinking.

	NOP・OCIA certified
	In order to sell our tea as organic in America, we have to be certified by NOP(National Organic Program), and we have to show the label of USDA(United States Department of Agriculture). OCIA is a certificate authority based on an original standard, and the manufacturer needs to acquire both NOP and OCIA authorization to display an OCIA label. Our company has acquired both of these authorizations, so we can sell our tea to the world.
	By revised JAS method published on April 1, 2001, in order for a producer, a manufacturer, etc… to display on the total product or agricultural-products processing the label "organic", it is necessary to acquire the organic JAS authorization by the independent organization which the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries accepted. We received the authorization of a production section and a processing section.
